Free or bought, fonts of a high quality are always great to have in your font book, but nine times out of 10 they are extremely hard to find and its a very time consuming process. It takes a lot of patience to find somewhere for that ideal font you are after. We are constantly on the lookout for typography-related sites, always looking for the latest fonts to fill our need for the best and when we do we are sure to bookmark that site. So today we’d like to share some of those sites with you to help with that ball-ache of finding the best fonts. An Argentine foundry based in Buenos Aires, Sudtipos offer some amazing fonts that are regularly updated. Keep an eye out for these guys, their unique fresh approach is always varied due to the four co-founders behind the projects.

Exljbris (Jos Buivenga)

Any keen reader of Smashing Magazine will have heard of Jos Buivenga. Exljbris Foundry have some amazing free fonts that we seemed to have used again and again. He creates modern type faces that just work and seem to have been picked up by everyone. See the font Museo in action with a video to Weird Al’s track Albuquerque.

MyFonts

MyFonts has been around for years and has established itself as the worlds largest collection of fonts. Not only can you buy fonts you can identify that rouge one your after and also try before you buy. A source of fonts for any designer.

Veer

Veer like MyFonts has one of the largest collections of fonts online. Not only do they offer fonts but they are a great source of premium Photography and Illustrations.

Urban Fonts

Urban Fonts offer a collection of over 8,000 free fonts and free dingbats. Get over all the adverts and the sometimes hard to explore fonts it’s still a great source for any designer.
