We are proud to announce a new project win to help develop and promote a new premium iPad app. The app has been developed to help those with learning and communication difficulties to communicate much more intuitively and easily in every day life. It uses a library of Makaton symbols and graphics, sign language, sign language video and synthesised speech to aid communication.
The app will be targeted at parents to be used in home environments to act as a mobile communication aid, and also within special and mainstream schools to be used as a curriculum learning aid in the classroom.
The app has already been in development for the past six months and we are now helping to re-design and develop the UI. Alongside this we have also been asked to create a brand and website to raise awareness and promote the benefits of the app.
Makaton - What Language Is This?
Makaton uses signs, symbols and speech to help people with learning and/or communication difficulties to communicate. Through the use of Makaton, children and adults can interact with others, be included in everyday life, take part in education, access information and services, and fulfill their potential. Couple this with the app and the lives of those using it will be hugely enhanced.
