We’ve worked with the team at GoCardless to create an online version of the UK’s first ‘Accountants Benchmarking Report’ – a chance for UK accounting firms to see where they stand against their competition.
Just under 300 practices completed the survey, answering questions around three core themes:
- Onboarding and managing clients
- Billing, pricing, and payments
- Adapting to change
Some of the firms who took part also joined an expert panel of cloud software specialists, experienced practitioners, consultants, and journalists in order to bring the survey to life through their collective experience.
From concept to reality
In a UK first, GoCardless have paved the way for the accounting industry to be more transparent with one another, sharing knowledge and insights as to how they operate. Something that traditionally is kept behind closed doors.
GoCardless identified this as a problem and addressed it with their benchmarking report. For the first time accountancy firms can visualise how they stack up against their peers and competitors. An invaluable tool that will develop and grow as the report is repeated year-on-year.
Working with GoCardless to support their internal marketing and design teams, we built a gated single-page report containing comments from the panel, video clips discussing the findings in more detail, statistics of where firms stand, and the all important survey results.
