Having first partnered with Price & Pierce in 2018, this second redesign project represented an opportunity to evolve the brand digitally while respecting the heritage the company has built over generations. The challenge was to create a refined visual identity and digital experience that balanced traditional industry trust with a more modern and confident presentation.
We understood that Price & Pierce’s strength lies not only in the scale of its operations, but also in the depth of knowledge it brings to the timber market. The brand identity and website needed to communicate that expertise clearly while distinguishing them from the often dated, overly corporate feel commonly found in the sector.
Through typography, a restrained but confident colour palette, and strong editorial-inspired layouts, we helped reposition Price & Pierce with a premium, contemporary website that reflects both its heritage and its forward-thinking approach to sustainable sourcing.
We deliberately moved away from traditional industrial-style timber websites and instead embraced a more refined design language inspired by premium editorial and corporate publishing. Large-format imagery showcasing timber products, global sourcing, and supply operations was combined with clean layouts and purposeful typography to create a more engaging user experience.
Key messaging around sustainability, global reach, and local market expertise was strategically placed throughout the site to support the company’s core values and capabilities. Subtle movement, interactions, and carefully considered page transitions added depth to the browsing experience without distracting from the content.
The result is a website that feels both established and modern — a destination that reflects Price & Pierce’s position as a respected leader within the timber and panel industry.
Given the scale of Price & Pierce’s operations and the need for flexible content management, WordPress was the ideal platform for the project. The website required the ability to manage a growing range of products, industry information, and company content while remaining intuitive for the internal team to update.
We developed a bespoke WordPress theme tailored to the business’s needs. The build focused heavily on creating a streamlined user experience, allowing visitors to quickly explore timber and panel products and understand the company’s sourcing capabilities.
