Working With Fhoke

A better way to work together

Are we a good fit?

Choosing an agency is about more than liking its work. You need to know how the relationship will work, who will be involved, what will be expected of you and how an idea becomes something real. We keep projects collaborative, structured and transparent. From the first conversation through planning, design, development and launch, you’ll know what we’re doing, why we’re doing it and what we need from you to keep things moving.

Let’s Work Together
Before we start

First, let’s make sure we’re right for each other

The best projects start with the right fit. Before we talk about deliverables, we’ll want to understand your organisation, what you’re trying to achieve, what’s getting in the way and why you’re considering a project now.

You don’t need to arrive with a finished specification. In fact, we’d often rather help shape the brief with you. What matters is having a problem worth solving, realistic expectations and people on both sides who are prepared to collaborate.

We’re particularly well suited to organisations looking for bespoke thinking rather than a predetermined template or off-the-shelf solution. If we don’t think we’re the right agency for the job, we’ll tell you.

Getting started

From first conversation to project kick-off

  • Tell us what you’re thinking

Send us a brief, an existing specification or simply tell us what you’re trying to achieve. You don’t need to have every answer; if the brief still needs shaping, we can help work through the questions that matter.

  • Let’s talk

We’ll arrange an initial conversation to understand the organisation, project, audiences, objectives, requirements, timing and available budget. It’s also your opportunity to decide whether we’re the kind of people you want to work with.

  • We’ll shape the approach

If there’s a good fit, we’ll work out what the project needs rather than simply pricing a list of outputs. We may challenge the brief, identify priorities, recommend a technical approach or separate immediate needs from sensible later phases.

  • You’ll receive a clear proposal

We’ll present a tailored digital proposal covering our recommended approach, project phases, deliverables, indicative programme and investment. We’ll talk it through and refine the scope before anything is signed.

  • We make it official

Once everyone is happy, the final proposal is signed and the initial invoice is paid. We’ll confirm scheduling, brief the wider team and gather the information, content and assets needed for the first phase.

  • Project kick-off

We’ll introduce the project team, confirm responsibilities and priorities, then move into the first agreed phase. Website projects typically begin with planning, research, structure and wireframing before visual design and development.

What working with Fhoke feels like

01 Collaborative, not theatrical

We don’t disappear for six weeks and return with a grand reveal. Good work comes from sharing thinking, asking questions and making decisions together.

02 Specialists stay involved

The designers, developers and specialists responsible for the work are part of the process, with the right people involved at the right stage.

03 We’ll challenge the brief

If we see a better route, unnecessary complexity or something that could compromise the result, we’ll explain why and recommend an alternative.

04 Clear communication

You’ll know what stage the project is at, what we’re working on and what we need from you. We’ll also be clear when decisions or approvals affect the programme.

High praise

“If you’re considering working with Fhoke - honestly, I can’t recommend them enough. Give them a go and after one project you’ll see how easy they are to work with, how passionate they are, but also how skilled they are at what they do.”

Your part in the process

Great projects need both sides

We’ll lead our part of the project, but the strongest work comes from an engaged client team. You know your organisation, customers and internal priorities better than we ever can; our job is to combine that knowledge with our experience in strategy, design and technology. We’ll make responsibilities clear at the beginning rather than leaving either team guessing.

01 A project lead

Someone who can coordinate your team and keep decisions moving.

02 Access to the right people

Stakeholders, subject specialists and decision-makers when their input matters.

03 Clear feedback

Considered, consolidated feedback rather than conflicting instructions from multiple directions.

04 Content and assets

The information, imagery, product data or internal access we’ve agreed is needed to do the work.

Less talking. More showing off.
