Well, that went quickly! Another year. Gone. As we wind down the year at Fhoke, we’re taking a moment to look up from the pixels, stretch our legs, and reflect on everything that 2025 brought with it. It’s been a year of solid work, smart problem-solving, and projects that reminded us exactly why we do what we do. No big shake-ups. No dramatic reinventions. Just the kind of thoughtful, crafted work that keeps us moving forward — quietly but confidently.

The Highlights

We didn’t grow headcount or overhaul our operations. Instead, we doubled down on our strengths: building websites that are intuitive, beautiful, and help brands grow. This year was all about refinement—focusing on the details that set a good site apart from a great one.

Tech That Gives Us More to Play With

Almost 90% of what we build uses WordPress as the CMS, and we remain strong advocates of Shopify for our stores. But it’s clear that WordPress remains (and probably will for some time) at the core of everything we do. But as it did in 2024, Laravel is becoming even more central to our bigger builds — opening the door to deeper functionality, enhanced performance and more custom solutions. It’s allowed us to take on more inventive problem-solving without losing the polished front-end craft we’re known for.

AI: A Powerful Tool. Not the Designer.

2025 was the year the noise around AI became impossible to ignore. From auto-generated brands to drag-and-drop websites, it’s clear AI will shape parts of our industry. But we’ve seen first-hand that it can only take companies so far. Without a sharp design eye and real strategic thinking, brands blend into the background. We’ve seen clients adopt it, then return because it lacks the edge a human provides.

Our approach? Work with AI, not against it. Use it to accelerate the boring bits, explore creative options faster, and free up our brains for the parts that truly matter — originality, storytelling, craft, and the emotional connections that pixels alone can’t generate.

Project Launches & Wins

We’ve partnered with brands pushing for bigger impact online, from lifestyle labels finding their voice to stores levelling up their digital experience. Every build brought challenges worth solving and results worth celebrating. It’s the kind of work that keeps us fuelled (and yes… slightly over-caffeinated).

Here’s a quick glimpse from the past 12 months and those upcoming launches.

Lionheart Education Website Design
Since 1989, Lionheart has been a pioneering one-to-one school in West London.
Lionhart Education

Lionheart’s visual identity and website had stagnated. A renowned institution and brand, the team behind the name realised that, to continue growing its reputation for exceptional one-to-one education, the existing logo, brand, and website had to evolve to reflect the level of care behind its approach.

We set out to refine the logo and website—preserving the brand’s essence while elevating its clarity and confidence. The refreshed monogram and website is more balanced and legible, expressing both structure and warmth, and sits at the heart of a modernised design system. A calmer palette, refined typography, and new graphic elements reflect the focused, personalised learning environment for which Lionheart is known. The result is a brand and website that feels premium yet welcoming — thoughtful, poised, and built around every student’s success.

Landed Houses Website Design
The new Landed Houses website has won multiple awards.
Landed Houses

Landed Houses came to Fhoke with a theme-based website that had evolved haphazardly over the years, bolted together with third-party tools and bespoke plugins that made even simple updates a challenge. Our goal was to give them a new brand identity and a reimagined website experience that reflected the character and charm of their historic homes. Working closely with their team, we planned the complex migration of hundreds of properties into a more sustainable, future-proof framework, providing them a platform that could scale and evolve without compromise.

The result is a bespoke WordPress website built from the ground up for performance, usability, and flexibility. We designed intuitive journeys for both property owners and guests, allowing owners to independently manage listings and imagery for the first time, and helping guests to search, filter, and send booking requests individually or in bulk. Wrapped up in a new design and powered by our signature WordPress configuration, the new Landed Houses platform delivers an effortless booking experience and a robust backend system, giving the brand the tools it needs to thrive for years to come.

Salt Recruitment Website Design
We merged 14 separate websites into one global site for Salt Recruitment.
Salt

Salt, a leading global recruitment agency, approached us to modernise their digital presence and unify their worldwide teams under one roof. Their previous website(s) had grown fragmented across 14 separate country websites, each with its own dated look and inconsistent experience. We designed and developed a bespoke WordPress theme that refreshed Salt’s brand image with a bold, contemporary aesthetic, giving them a refreshed and professional online presence that matches their reputation in the recruitment world.

To bring everything together, we implemented multilingual functionality to merge all regional websites into one centralised, easy-to-manage site. We also integrated Broadbean, the global leader in job distribution and recruitment advertising, allowing Salt’s site to automatically pull in live job listings and push applications back to the platform seamlessly. The result is a unified recruitment site that streamlines operations, enhances candidate experience, and strengthens brand consistency — with overwhelmingly positive feedback from Salt’s teams around the world.

Autodata
Autodata ensure your data, wherever it’s located.
Autodata

Autodata exists to make the complicated world of data protection feel simple and secure — ensuring information is always backed up, truly immutable, and recoverable in minutes, all while keeping sovereignty intact and avoiding vendor lock-in. As they prepared to take their proposition to a wider audience, they needed a brand that conveyed trust, innovation, and clarity from the first glance.

Fhoke partnered with Autodata to build that foundation. We created a refined visual identity and a distinctive logomark rooted in protection and resilience — a brand language that balances technical expertise with approachable confidence. Every element was designed to communicate reliability without slipping into the conventional clichés of the data security space.

This work carries through into a bespoke WordPress website engineered for flexibility and performance. The new site simplifies a complex service offering into a clear narrative, helping visitors instantly understand how Autodata safeguards what matters most. With improved structure, UX, and messaging, the site gives the business the right tools to scale — hosting content that supports lead generation while positioning Autodata as a modern force in data protection.

Annapurna Websites Design
We’ve worked with Annapurna since 2015.
Annapurna

We’ve worked with Annapurna since 2015. During that time, we have designed and built three websites. The latest design was relaunched in early 2025 to reflect how the business model is evolving. But we didn’t end on the updates there, until the end of June 2025, the website used Bullhorn for a job feed. We have since helped them switch to using Broadbean via the JobRelay plugin post July 2025.

Looking Ahead

2026 already looks exciting. Big builds are underway, clients are returning with bolder ambitions, and the tools at our disposal are evolving at lightning speed. We’ll keep embracing what helps us push boundaries and questioning anything that threatens to lower the bar. AI isn’t the enemy. Mediocrity is.
And we’ll keep choosing craft over convenience every time.

To every client, collaborator, freelancer, and friend: thank you for another year of trust, creativity, and conversation. We’ll see you in 2026, ready to make more magic.
