The HICONSUMPTION website has been redesigned and rebuilt on WordPress multiple times, leaving legacy code and additional bloat impacting search performance. HICONSUMPTION realised to reach the next level of growth, they had to find a web design agency that could get them there with as much passion for design as they have for gear.
The HICONSUMPTION team knows that the men’s gear space has a sophisticated, no-nonsense audience. They tasked us to develop a new outdoor-inspired colour palette, fresh typography and contemporary grid-based layout to create a new WordPress theme with a timeless vibe with hints of nostalgia, nodding back to the days of the printed page.
We started from scratch, building HICONSUMPTION a streamlined new design, a fresh WordPress theme and optimised code. Extensive work went into ensuring the new CSS performed with top marks on mobile usability on Google Search Console and PageInsights tests, reaching the highest scores in its class for both mobile and desktop. HICONSUMPTION is now positioned both visually and in SERPs to achieve new growth.
